FAQ

We have done furniture restoration in commission in the past, but for now we focus on our own growing list of projects and stock. We do have a network of restorers so feel free to ask if we know someone that is up for your restoration.

If possible we’d love to meet our customers in person, therefore we would always advise anyone interested in our products to come visit our showroom and collect an order in person. In this case responsibility for the items purchased is in hands of the new owner as soon as they’ve left our premises.

If you live locally but arent able to pick up your order yourself, we can discus delivering it ourselves. In this case there are costs involved and we are responsible for the items until your front door. Any damage to an item or your premises as a result of placing items in your house whether its with or without our help, we can not be held accountable for.

Unfortunately it isn’t always possible to pick items up at our showroom or deliver them ourselves, therefore we have a network of couriers and shipping agencies in The Netherlands, Europe and Worldwide, who will transport your goods with as much care as possible.

We package all items ourselves with consideration concerning the weight, size and vulnerability of each order.

All items made of glass, or have parts made of glass can not be insured. Before purchasing any glass items please take into account that any damage during transportation or shipping is at buyers risk.

Please specify your location at each enquiry so we can come up with a suitable shipping quote. For quotes and any other shipping information please contact us via e-mail at …… or by telephone on 0031 6 33 836 823.

We put a lot of time into sourcing and restoring all items that come trough our shop, therefor its very important for us that our customers are as happy as we are about the items they’ve purchased. However due to the historic nature of our products, which can involve wear or slight damage, we do not accepts refunds, just as we can not give product guarantees.

We understand the nature of dealing in items which are all unique due to there age and history, therefor we try to be as truthful and revealing as possible in the descriptions and photographs we post of all items. Also we are more than welcome to invite you over to come and take a look at the item and ask us any questions about it before purchasing it.

If you feel like we’ve provided a significant misdescription with an item you bought and/or the item has damage not stated in the product description ( other than the wear by natural ageing and use) please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and keep the receipt or invoice.

Should a return be agreed upon based on terms above, please understand that we do not refund any shipping costs and strongly advise you to look into the best way of transporting the item back to us. All items are under your and/or your couriers responsibility until we receive it back. Package with care, if possible in original packaging and always ask for proof of postage. Any refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the item.

We are happy to accept any payments made by bank transfer in Euro’s, we will send you an invoice with our bank details after you made your purchase. This is free of any charge by us, please note that some foreign banks do charge you extra for international transactions.

We also accept payments via Paypal in which case any fees charged by Paypal are for the buyer.

If you come to collect your order at our showroom or we deliver your order ourselves, we accept cash as well.

We do not accept credit cards, foreign currencies and we do not have an ATM at our showroom.

We spend a lot of time hand picking and sourcing new stock. We are quite selective in what we do and don’t buy, but if you’ve got the right piece we would love to trade with you. Please send us clear photographs with a detailed description and any information you have about the piece (maker/designer/provenance). Please note any damage and/or missing parts and preferably your asking price.

P.s. We don’t buy any Eastern European, Indonesian or Asian bulk and/or reproduction items.

We are however very much interested in architectural, decorative, restorative, lighting and furniture from mid century period and older.
