Adjustable American Seating Company chairs.

Description: Two American chairs often marketed as captain chairs. These particular ones originate from an old ice cream parlour.

The chairs are made out of pressed steel and can be adjusted by loosening and tightening the screw on the base.  Their colom bases with mounting holes in them suggest they’ve been bolted down to the floor. For stability reasons we would suggest the chairs are mounted down to a floor or separate (wider) base for future use.

Materials: Pressed steel and wood.

Technical details: Max height of the seat: 45 cm – max height total: 85 cm – Width seat: 41 cm .

Condition: In very good vintage condition considering their age.

Quantity: Sold.
