Antique Kandem Körting & Mathiesen 2 part 2 tone pendant light early model
Description: Single Bauhaus opaline and etched pendant light by Kandem, Körting & Mathiesen AG Leipzig.
The pendant consists of two separate pieces of glass held together by a brass ring. The bottom glass is Etched and the top glass is opaline to provide a subtile glow of light downwards and a slightly more diffuse glow of light upwards.
This early model features a ring that consists of two parts held togheter by 2 screws, one on each side. The logo on the bottom glas is the early version with the serrated edge.
